H. Lee, editor at Korea Glow Report
H. Lee is the editor of Korea Glow Report, an English-language beauty publication for US readers. The site's guides cover sunscreen, skincare ingredients, acne marks, hair and scalp, nails and makeup wear, with a section dedicated to K-beauty.
How each article is researched
- Claims are traced to the studies behind them, at minimum the PubMed abstract and preferably the full text, with the number of participants, duration, concentration and comparator when the study reports them.
- Guidance from regulators and professional bodies, including the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the EU Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS) is checked alongside the studies.
- The K-beauty section draws on Korean-language sources: Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) notices, brand formula pages and Korean user reviews.
- Claims in each evidence table are graded Strong, Moderate, Limited, Lab-only or Guidance, using the scale in the editorial policy, and the wording follows that grade.
- Ingredient evidence and finished-product evidence are kept apart, and a brand's own test results are attributed to the brand.
- Every source check and price observation is dated, and editorial illustrations are labeled as illustrative images.
